at the end of the day she was a victim too and while heather wasn't ready to accept that, the sentiment ruminated deep within her mind. it was like a subtle reminder to keep herself in check, even if she wished it wasn't there because really— she wanted to get her revenge. )

I um....you're a really kind person and I uh....I suck at this but I'm so angry. I really want to hurt her but I can't. I don't think she'll outright attack me but....she was using me back home you know? For her plans so I'm sure she'll try that again here.

[ Dopey? Rather than an offended tone in his head, it's more questioning. He isn't quite sure how he comes off to people, if he's honest. He sometimes worries that he seems unfriendly, but it's good that it comes off as "dopey", instead. Someone told him that he seems like he is "out of it," which he still isn't sure what that means; mostly because he isn't sure if he seems "out of it" as in "disinterested," or "out of it" as in "dissociating."
But dopey is good. Like one of the Seven Dwarfs - and it sounds like Heather is feeling not so overwhelmed, as well. ]

Tell each other everything? He supposes that wouldn't be too hard. He's a little surprised she didn't realize how much he came to owe her for her help. It seems not emoting or expressing himself verbally has caused some misunderstanding. But he's happy that he is able to clear it up.

( in turn, his own stifled little laugh is met by one of her own as she felt some of the stress of everything wash off her. it helped they came from the same world and could relate to a lot of things and fears. while they still had plenty more to share and talk about, she was glad he turned out to be a good person.
